• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Just answered it yourself AB.

He waited too long to make the subs and then got it wrong with the personal when he did it.

We needed someone to take a grip in midfield, didn't see anyone on the bench to do that, those players were on the field and tiring. Difficult no matter what.

Needed the fresh legs sooner galbraith and Franco looked knacked after an hour
Don’t disagree with this but as a manager sometimes you can’t win. Too many subs and too early last weekend & not enough and too late today.

We do need to do better on and off the pitch if we want to challenge for top 6 though.

Maybe ‘we’ got carried away over the summer (based on previous years) as the reality probably is we’re an 8th-14th placed team/squad. Personally I’m pretty happy with that as long as there’s some entertainment and attacking/positive football along the way.

yes a long long way to go but its games like today that could make the difference where a point would have been good but we have zero
If this had been happening constantly through out the season, then yes it would be a concern.

Wednesday we were on cloud nine singing the praises of the manager and this team. Today we lose out in a fairly even contest against a team with a good record at home.

On another occasion we would have won this game if things had gone our way. Today we didn't, we move on and get ready for Millwall.

Looked mikes of it
Very laboured in his approach and even coming on fresh he seemed to late to every loose ball.
We have got this one wrong, I don't see him suiting our system and style at all.

Felt sorry for the players today. They stayed in the battle, should have been 2-0 up early doors and got done by a linesman's call 1st half.

Seems to be the same culprits too, Vipotnik anyone...
I have to say, I never wrote off Vipotnik.....I have always said I could see a player in him.

I'm not seeing anything in Idah. I do believe also it is down to how we play and I don't see either changing unfortunately.

My mate who is a Celtic season ticket holder reckons Idah is the worst player he’s ever seen in green and white.
I said this a couple of weeks ago in the thread when we signed him.
My mate said make sure he signs the contract because he’ll probably sign the table.

Loads on here said the same about Vip.

I said at the time we'd payed too much, but I'm not writing him off just yet.
Also, if your mate reckons Idah is the worst player he's ever seen in a Celtic shirt he's talking utter pish ...

He might come good but it's a worry how poor he looks at present.
His hold up play is terrible, touch is poor and he looks like he is carrying a bit of weight.
