• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I remember it well.. I had a party in St Neots then staggered to London Road.. I remember Freestone having a blinder and our terrace going mad when the 3rd goal went in.
Didn't that game bring to an end the long run of clean sheet?

Thinking, the run of wins had to end at half time then scoring three in front of us second half!

As much as it’s a sad reason of absence - I think we could benefit from Stamenic not being in the side today. Franco & Galbraith in the deeper 6 roles with room for Widell or Cullen further forward would mix things up a bit
I was with you up until you mentioned Cullen. Widell yes, Cullen no.

Anyone know if away fans can purchase beer at The Valley? Or is it a dry stadium like Watford? We’ve left it a bit late to go to the away-friendly pubs…

On the plus side we do see Liam Cullen at a coffee shop at Canary Wharf, so that was a bonus.
