• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Match day threads are hilarious. Pretty much unanimous opinion pre-match that away to the league leaders was a free hit and a good performance is the most important thing. After a narrow loss that should probably have been a draw, we're somehow 4 places lower and 34 points worse off than we are in reality?
I'm pretty sure some of them cheer when we concede just so they can post in the match day thread. The others believe we're Real Madrid.

4 points ahead of Portsmouth but according to you we are comfortably top half.

Now we're getting somewhere. We are very near the bottom of the table, well done. But we're not bottom are we? You can call it pedantic if you like, but if the season finished today, we wouldn't be relegated. If we actually were bottom, then we would be. Seems an important difference to me.
I bet you hate losing at Scrabble don't you

A lot better than under Sheehan, but unfortunately for Matos we just don't have the quality in the final third. It looks we are stuck with these players for a few seasons.

Very very pedantic

Why/how are we stuck with them? A bit melodramatic

Decent performance away to a good team. They just had that bit more quality going forward although I didn’t think they were anything special. I know they’ve got a few players out but it’s surprising they’ve hit so many goals this season if that’s what they look like.

You can see the quality in some of these young players. Widell, Stamenic, Inoussa will all be better for us next season. It might be a case of us needing to wait to see the benefits. We’ll have to stay up first of course.

I thought we did well today and would have been good value to the point had we got it. Cullen and Vipo should have scored. Our awful wingers are killing us.
I would agree with everything other than wingers. Ronald and Inoussa didn't do to bad. Eom was crap. Would like to see Yalcouye instead of Franco and Widell needs to start.
