• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Looking forward to tomorrows game and think it’s a good opportunity for another 3 points

Derby are in good form but it’s definitely winnable. They don’t seem great at home

Sami Szmodics striker .
He's a good player .
Rhian Brewster or Szmodics likely goal scorer .

I hope Matos has learnt a few things on team selection for away games. Did well in the end after a slow start at Watford, But Millwall and Hull we were over run for the first half in both games.

Hopefully we are not chasing the game second half and get a solid first half done.

We started OK at Hull should have scored
Played some really attacking football missed a couple of sitters .
Millwall we started poorly,
Watford we started on the front foot then they were better .
Lots of games we look stronger when the subs come on with quality off the bench

We’ve done well in the first half of many games - I think opposition teams are still trying to work out Matos setup so we seem to assert ourselves well in the first 45 minutes without anyone really pushing us hard.

I’ve noticed we tend to lose control the first 10/15 minutes of second half and this is usually down to a shift of tactics from the opposition who have probably worked out our initial setup.

Having real quality coming off the bench on the 60 minute mark seems to reinsert our dominance in a number of games and gives us a real boost recently I.e Watford, Oxford, Wrexham. Last season we seemed to lose that momentum around the 60 minute mark and we had no impact from the bench.
