• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

This interlude until our next cup/league matches couldn't come at a better time. That was gutting to listen to. Even worse to witness no doubt. Really thought we were going to come away with at least a point after a worrying first half.

Stuck in a bus coming away from game. We were far better second half and had them on the ropes. Their number 7 caused us all kinds of problems first half. Vigs world class. Peaky blinders wannabes snatched it at the end. Gutted. Onwards and upwards.

By any chance was you annoyed as I was with Millwall chant of ohhhhhhhhh.. That alone I would of liked to see us to get a draw. Also who knew.. Alex Neil was 44. The man looks like he is in his late 50s 😜

Isn't the chant 'Miwaaaaaaaaaw' or something similar?

A cruel but deserved defeat,Vigroux man of the match followed by Fulton.

Some pretty dreadful performances today against an ugly opposition who exposed a lot of our weaknesses, the limitations of a high pressing game was also showed today, i still don’t see any improvement in our overall footballing performances but the fact that we have picked up a decent number of points masks that fact.

Really don’t see what some see in Yalcoule and why people sing about Inoussa running down the wing is a mystery to me, he either loses possession, falls over or passes the ball back…he’s a real disappointment.

We need a couple of players in January just to get us over the line because my fear is we’ll run out of steam if our only tactic is to run around closing teams down…we’re not Liverpool.

Think the press didn’t work as the players were too fooked to do it.
I didn’t really see them try to press that much either

I respectfully disagree with alot you have said. I keep saying it, we have played a ton of games nearly all away and all based on pressing. Millwall have played half the games over the same period.

The number 8 Billy Mitchell was class too.

Just 'Waaaaaaaaaaaall' then? I'm sure my Miwaw supporting colleague mentioned it to me a few years ago with some pride 🙄
Honestly I couldn't listen to that every week. I would literally go insane. 😜😅
