Yep, I've been saying it ever since Cooper left and the parachute money ran out mate.

For every Piroe, Downes or Galbraith we sign, we probably sign about 3 or 4 Eoms. And we're still doing it.

This squad is no different to the previous ones - ceiling is 10th, floor is about where we are now. Probably finish bang in the middle of those two positions. Regardless of coach.
To be fair out of this season’s intake only Benson looks ineffective or under par - but he has been championship player of the season with Burnley so he’s no Richie Appleby - he lacks on confidence and really needs a couple of u21 games just for him to get back in his groove. I’m Injuries can rob good players of confidence and that’s what he really needs.

I’m with you on Eom’s especially starting games as a left winger. Might as well put Fulton there it isn’t his bag.

Vig is one of my favourite of our players and I would not swap him for any other keeper in the league. But starting for Chile or being an international does not mean much in itself.
Being an international regular for a South American country doesn’t mean much? Chile aren’t Brazil or Argentina but they aren’t Kazakhstan either.

No, not in itself. Vig is an International and he is also amazing but the two are not mutually exclusive. Cullen is an International for a team around the same level as Chile and whenever he makes the starting line up everybody on here moans.

A few people have made comments about how we have the most International players in the league as if that guarantees it means they are all fantastic. Some are but Benson playing for Angola or Santos playing for Cape Verde does not mean they are automatically better than a Championship player who will never get close to an England national team.

Those youtube vids of Inoussa and Widdel in the summer got us all excited.

Not seen much of that ability quite yet
