• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Yes but VP needs to be positionally in the box when the crosses come over which he hasn't been good at. He did it well against Watford so he needs to be on his toes in the box making those runs
True, or it means giving him the ball to his feet at a rate faster than glaciers melt. We all know that he has a right boot like a cannonball but he can never utilize that strength if it takes us ten passes to get the ball to him, and even then its up on his chest with two defenders up his arse.

If Vip doesn't start today after getting 2 in 2 including that 35 yard thunderbolt and a public vote of confidence from the manager then there is no hope for him at the club. The key is getting the wingers in behind the full backs so that he can receive the ball facing the goal rather than with his back to it.

And the key to THAT is playing with quick ball and not the turgid walking football nonsense that we saw against Plymouth.
If the rumours of him being off are true then he may not even be in the squad today. Deserves a start though after scoring in the last 2

This picture makes me think Hillsborough is located up in one of the many Welsh Valley Towns. The topography that does it, I think. 🤔

Our best 11
Can’t argue with that lineup
Pretty much exactly the team I had advocated for except for Stamenic starting instead of Yalcouye

Can pretty interchangeably switch from 4231 to 4141

Im actually happy with Stamenic. He showed quality on the ball, seemed laboured, but really he was intelligent in his passing and play. Not sure how physical Wednesday are, but Yalcouye might be a good energy sub.

I expected Sheehan to start Stamenic over Yalcouye and for Inoussa to start for an injured Eom (although he's on the bench so perhaps this was a tactical decision), but didn't think he'd go for Vip ahead of Cullen. Glad he has mind.

Perhaps this is Vipotnik's chance to make a claim for the first choice striker spot and negate the need to sign someone...
