Well there’s no surprise there you disagreeing with me.
Anybody who thought that was a good performance really doesn’t know the first thing about football, you do realise that we played against ten men for nearly two thirds of the match do you??
Shapeless and lacking any energy would be how I would describe today’s performance, at one nil it was us who looked like we had ten men, like I said, delighted with the three points but please don’t confuse that with playing well.

Galbraith and Stamenic with Walta as the creative 10 or similar.......it's looking quite clear now.

A RB who stays on the right offers more balance. Galbraith at RB is just a square peg in a round hole in this team.

Might not have been the perfect performance but encouragingly the shape of the team looked better today.

Some good fishing trips here tonight 😂

Galbraith looked fine back in the middle but a lot of stray passes and when he’s pushed over, we can get caught centrally so he has to play with the cover of Marko.

Certainly not a square peg at RB though, he’s a very able one as he’s shown for most of his career.

Praise where it's due, enough players had a good game to earn the win, but we were dreadful for periods against ten men, and did our best to gift them an equaliser. Cullen's goal was lipstick on a pig to be honest. We need to play better against Hollywood or it'll be another away massacre.
There was no need to have Franco and Stamenic on in the 2nd half. Stoke had 0 attacking threat and we needed that extra impetus (Widell/Yalcoue) from the midfield to drive us forward quickly.

Eom and Tymon were playing excellently down the left hand side they were causing Stoke so many problems. So he went and moved Eom onto the right just to accomodate Nunes and completely killed the left and now the right hand side off.

Bringing on Ward, keeping Franco/Stamenic on for too long taking Galbraith off when only 1-0 up. I think Matos thought we were 4-0 up and he could do whatever he wanted.

As I said his changes against Preston were spot on, he was brave and recognized the issue. Today his changes (or lack of) was far too safe and disrupted the flow of our team.

Thanks for your opinion but I disagree with your opinion.

I'd rather have seen Yalcoure on than Nunes. I think Nunes is ineffective against a team parking the bus. Yalcoure has the close control to wreak havoc. Very surprised he didn't get a chance today.

You play your opponents, and by nearly every possible metric we beat stoke today. That’s a good result, a good performance no matter how you slice it.

Before I start to read this thread from the beginning. I’ll make a bold prediction that Cullen had peltors from the usual match day heroes, before they all cream themselves after his goal.

First, hot dogs for tea boys.

Uppafuckingswans 👊🏼👊🏼
wasn’t on long enough to get pelters for his performance, but I certainly gave him pelters for his hideous run where he fell over himself 100 times and got tackled.
I quickly took it back when he scored a screamer!
