With all due respect, calling someone else’s comments odd is like lobbing rocks in a greenhouse. Your comments set new standards in oddity.

Second half we couldn’t keep possession, were lucky their finishing wasn’t better and relied on some cynical fouls and a lot of hoofing the ball. If you find that enjoyable then congrats, but it’s not for me.
Indeed, I like to think of myself as pretty literate but I had to actually look up ebullience (being cheerful or full of energy). So his post translates to:

His cheerfulness/fullness of energy, technique, intelligence, boundless energy and enthusiasm is at the vanguard of Vitor's high press

So three of his five descriptors were about his fullness of energy

Eom has improved immeasurably since Matos took over. If he continues along this path he will become a fantastic player. Can't argue about Ronald and Cullen. Complete liabilities the pair of them
The biggest problem with Eom is his terrible habit of hogging the ball in attacking positions running into blind alleys rather than passing on the ball to players in good positions.

That’s an excellent three points over play off chasing Wurzels. Not a great game for the neutral but Matos and the team should take great satisfaction for nullifying their threat and for what we did without the ball. The subs worked for us and this isn’t the first time I have said this under the Matos reign. Worth getting soaked for.

Not technically the best game today but another valuable 3 points. Hope we can back it up on Tuesday.

Still think there’s too much traffic between us and 6th to make the playoffs but even in a 7/10 performance it’s far more enjoyable than much of the last few years.
I am treating this as a rehearsal for a big push next season. Matos started from too far behind IMO, but with another transfer window and a pre season behind him, things could be very good next season.

It is insane that since Matos came in we have had a sustained points per game of 1.8 or so but still haven't been able to break into the top half of the table despite being 3 points off the top 6 before the 3pm games kicked off.

Who cares about the neutral, coops

Yet another statement of proper intent from Vitor, his top notch coaching team and the massive belief and latent talent in our high quality young squad.

Today was not just about nullifying them but grasping the nettle, taking the initiative, achieving >25% more passes in the final third ...etc etc

The learnings from today are massive - in so many ways

And being completely ineffectual in defense

Eom is the player who has kicked on the most since Matos arrived.

Would love some more end product of course, but Eom always looks the closest to providing something. A pass into the box between two defenders to find Yalcouye was a thing of beauty.

None of our wide players have been brilliant, but Eom and Inoussa (to a lesser degree) have shown the most capacity to improve for me. We've seen enough of Ronald to know exactly what he gives you and while I don't think it's as bad as some make out, it's not great.

Not a good watch today but they are an awkward team to play against. Probably one of the best I’ve seen in transition against us down here.

Vipotnik the difference today, quality chances were sparse for both sides but Zan showed up when it mattered.

Best win of the season for me, came through an ugly game and competed physically throughout. Would have liked us to have had a bit more control but could tell from minute one it wasn’t going to be that type of game. Class 3pts.
