• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I thought the crowd sounded quieter at times. Maybe people was wary because of the past and how we tend to let teams perform against us even in there dire situation?
I was having a lovely time feeling the sun on my face for the first time in months. Honestly after a couple of pints I could have easily fallen asleep 😂

It was a fine effort and nobody had a stinker.

Walta made some nice passes but clearly still needed to adjust to the pace of the game
Ronald got an assist
Another clean sheet

My only concern is that Stamenic collects yellow cards like football stickers

Thought Nunes looked a real handful. Very direct and looks to have some quality in the final third with his crosses. A better version of Ronald (who I thought had a decent game today)
Like I said earlier, if only he could shoot. He had, I think, three chances to shoot at goal from inside or on the edge of the area today, and he failed to hit the target once. Piss poor, but his overall game has got much stronger.

Derby, Bristol City, Preston as the next three, all about as good as one another, and really are beatable if we are being serious about play-offs.
The comm on the stream I was watching was talking about those teams as if we were playing Real, Barca and Man City. 3 run of the mill Championship teams who we've seen with our own eyes are nothing special. Confidence and momentum is often the difference and we're above all those teams in the form table (albeit Derby are close behind).

The biggest improvement for me is we are getting more bodies in the box to score.. look at Stemenic and Key last week, Franco today giving us every chance to score.

Our crosses are improving from both flanks albeit our corners today were not really in areas to hurt Sheff Wed.

Good to see Key being utilised to get his confidence back and Yalcouye getting off the mark

Will be interesting to see where Cullen fits in to this Matos set up with more options Matos has.

Winning the ball higher up the pitch helps but I agree - for the 1st time in years we’re regularly getting 3/4 players in the box when it’s being delivered.

He is improving IMO. No longer stops dead in advanced positions and looks for someone to pass back to. I think there’s merit in having a pacey winger who unsettles defences, if only because it causes a bit of chaos. Montero made a career out of it.
