• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Really, you can do better than that surely, I didn’t need to go into War and Peace to get my point across or try and give it the big I am by making reference to the business world.

We’ve all been there but some of us don’t need to showcase it on here.
What on earth are you talking about?

Now you see, you have pissed me off right there. I dont have to explain to you why I was or wasnt there, spent many a cold night down the stadium. So do us a favour and fvck right off. Is that ok with you, tw@
What’s a tw@ butt🤣

At some point we have to start trusting the players we develop. It would be nice to bring them into a winning team, but could Congreve be worse than Ronald or Benson? Or Parker worse than Key. Hard to see how.
Lissah has been having rave reviews. He was in the SPL team of the week this week.

That made me think of the years spent at the Vetch with the prison next door where (apparently) loads used to follow all of our home games through the crowd noise.
One of a family of skinheads I was at school with spent many games half out of one of the windows of the prison following matches. Or so the legend went.

Agreed. Unfortunately I’ve got less and less confidence in those making the football decisions at the club with each passing day.

Someone has watched his 12? games in Portugal and/or listened to his presentation of how he wants his teams to play
I doubt anyone’s watched his 12 games in Portugal. Dimbo will have analysed his stats though and the clockwork gorringe will have studied his PowerPoints. They need to be under the microscope, ‘prompto’

That said, he’d have to be a moron to watch that and not have a good idea of what’s needed. Every other single person in the ground will have. We need to get Allen, Britton and O’Leary off the gravy train tit too. Total reset required. The club has become stale and out of touch with current football reality.

lol.

Half way out of a window would probably be the best way to watch us at the moment !

Not going to take that as a typical Matos performance, had no time with the players and doesn’t even have his coaching staff. Better first half, poor goal conceded and same old in the second half from us.

Our only morsel of optimism is that it’s the end of November and there is plenty of time.

It is desperately worrying though. A bleak, bleak night to be a Swans fan.

In this particular case I can’t believe there are enough stats regarding Matos to have made the appointment that way.

I’m fairly certain we must have had a recommendation from someone.
