• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

When we won the Cup, we beat Crawley 3-2 on the way. So should I be hoping they score and repeat the journey 🤣

Small positives to build on; Galbraith, debut goal for Wales, minutes on the pitch for some, and into the next round. But boy do we need someone who can stick it in the onion bag!

Think this game has converted me against Vip. This was a game for him to show what he can do and try and put himself ahead of Cullen, but he didn't lok like he could be bothered all game.

Same. I wanted VP to show something. His hold up play is good,, but has 0 striker instinct. If Wales could get hold up play right and passing he will be miles better than VP.

Yea agreed, a game where we created quite a lot, and had the ball in the final third for large periods of the game and he looked non existent.

Hopefully Wales has that natural instinct to score. Good start for him

A very mixed bag. Fisher didn't let himself or us down. The centre backs looked good, very slack marking on the wing for their goal. Ronald and Inoussa looked sharp, two certain starters for Saturday. Vip was awful, like he doesn't want to be there. Not impressed with Widdell, I hope he can improve his all round game.
Galbraith is a steal for what we paid. He'll be off for 10-15 mill if he keeps playing like that.
Wales did well but not yet ready for the Championship, I hope this 'wow' striker is progressing.

Honestly I don't know what more Wales could have done in that 25 minutes to win you over
He scored a goal
He got an assist
He worked the channels
He held the ball up and brought others into play

Thoughts.

Liked the way we played, much more zip and drive through midfield.

Casey is a great player. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him oust Burgess and become our main centre back with Cabango.

Galbraith - very very good player. Will be interesting to see him play where he did tonight against championship teams

Inoussa looks very good. I thought Sam Parker had an excellent game at right back and would see no real problems in him as back up this season.

Eom looked good when he came on. Wales looks lively. Vipotnik looked the opposite of lively. Congreve is a bit of a headless chicken.

All in all, job done and we’ve cocked these up before.
Enjoyed it.

I think there is something special in Galbraith. Innousia as well and still convinced Eom is getting better. Franco for me is good. But needs to kick on. Well not literally as that foul on him was terrible. Widell for me as well is someone who didn't get enough credit tonight. He worked his socks off. Sam Parker did well too.
