• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Do you seriously think Leicesters shots on target in their last two games is going to have any bearing on our match? Im fascinated as to how you feel confident to make such precise predictions on so little evidence. Got to love the internet.
Yes, I do Captain. Either it's a coincidence, or alternatively they've only managed two shots on target in 3 hours of play because something is wrong there. 2 - 0 isn't a "precise" prediction (single not plural) and I'll be happy with any winning score.

And are you the same Captain Sham who wrote this last week? "Ive predicted we will lose 3-2 twice before(Hull and For) and we havent lost yet."

Another enforced absence for me. Two Saturday’s on the trot 😩

Cullen at ten. Widell off the bench if Cullen isn’t working. Give Key a rest and play Galbraith at RB. Yalcouyé and Franco as two in the middle. Don’t care who starts out of Vip or Idah, swap them if it’s not flowing. Don’t be afraid of Leicester. Thank you please.
Plastic 🤣

Tongue in cheek and I stopped as soon as we lost...I will let you in on a secret. I didnt actually think we would lose either game 3-2. I was just being silly.

FAir enough. There are more than two options as to why they only have 2 shots on target in 3 hrs of play though. You didnt factor in opponent or injury or luck or dodgy ref or striker leaving his shooting boots on the bus (they had 13 total shots vs WBA and 16 against Wrexham. The BBC stats are quite confusing. They even have a category for shots that hit the woodwork, which is technically not on target) or... there are any number of other reasons than coincidence or somethings wrong. And finally, whats to say our game isnt the game when all that changes anyway? I find predictions of any kind laughable.(See my previous post for details)

For those of you wetting yourselves in relation to how close we are to playoffs right now, at least try and wait until Xmas before actually letting go of said py$$. It was at this stage of the season that Cooper took over Notts Forest and I believe they had 4 points from 8 games, one more than Sheff Utd do now. It will be interesting to see if Sheff Utd do something similar.

Consistency is the name of the game now.
Follow up the huge win on Tuesday with another one on Saturday and hopefully find ourselves in the playoff spots over the international break

I'm pretty content with how regularly we're picking up points. We've only lost twice all season so far.
The more regularly we pick up points, I think the confidence will come out & the actual performances will increase dramatically.
I was happy with Sheehan that he made his changes early against Blackburn and they worked, so hopefully he's taking on board what's gone on in games so far & is learning to be more effective with his in game management.

Just live for the moment and enjoy what’s going on when it goes on.
