• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I've been lurking on the Leicester fans forum, and although they're an ex-Prem team with a very good squad their fans are really not at all confident. Vipotnik gets a lot of praise and we're described as a good team who are solid defensively, so their majority prediction is for a loss or a draw. Usually a team's fans who are higher in the table would be much more confident, but that's not the case this time.

They have a new manager and one of their comments is: "Very much fear we have appointed yet another possession / creativity manager. The majority of our fans will want him out in a month if so." Does that sound familiar at all?

Excellent snooping Glyn1 🧐

A win tomorrow and a place in the top six going into the international break would represent an incredible effort over the first 20% of the season especially given our calculated 'hardest opening nine games in the division' from the stats websites.

The early table has thrown more than a couple of surprises (Sheff Utd bottom, Boro top, Coventry second) but if we can go into the break sitting in 4th or 5th then I would be delighted with our efforts even if we consider ourselves having been robbed of 3-4 points when you consider the Millwall and Birmingham results, and thats not counting the points we coughed up by consistently conceding in stoppage time (Hull, Birmingham, Millwall to name a few).

I'm personally not surprised with Coventry. I have them to finish in to top 2 start of the season

I wouldn't be suprised based On Sheehan comments that Eom and maybe Cullen starts tomorrow. Eom proberly for Inoussa. Who does Cullen come in for?

Swansea is just outside the boundaries of a yellow weather warning, but still expect it to be rough. Stay safe folks, especially if you park on Beaufort Road and walk in. Lots of downed branches out there.

Agree that Eom & Cullen are likely to start. Unless Galbraith is moved to right back (unlikely), I think we’ll see

Vigouroux;
Key, Cabango, Burgess, Tymon;
Franco, Galbraith, Cullen;
Ronald, Vipotnik, Eom

Wouldn’t be suprised if it’s Stamenic instead of Galbraith but either way I can see them playing 60/30

*based on nothing other than Sheehan’s comments and the number of minutes played this week.

I wouldn't be suprised if your line up is spot on. 👌👌👌
