• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

To be fair we been rubbish. Man City second string aren’t amazing and another crappy ref but we deserved nothing from this game.
Get a grip. A serial winner in pep and up there as one of best team in the world. We have a manager in his first season with players who are new to the league and squad and a whole lot more. We did well.

And that they are incredibly talented!!!
Technical ability aside there is no point in having all the skill if you don't have the anticipation and footballing intelligence to be in a position to apply it

I hope that the Swans players will have taken this as a chance to learn from a team that ultimately we want to emulate in how we play and attack the full backs

Very harsh that
Even the city second string costs well over ten times our whole squad let alone the starting eleven
Nothing harsh about it. We weren’t very good and they had all the ball without having to work for it. It’s just a measure of where we are, no need to get sensitive about it.

You could argue we brought the style to the Premier League before Pep. And that's not far from truth. We may not play like them or be as good but we certainly brought the style to the Premier league. Forgotten by alot of supporters.

Agreed. Ridiculous comment to make. Saying we was rubbish. We did well considering everything.
I’m not being overly critical or emotional here, I don’t really care and didn’t expect much but anyone watching that who is not a swans fan will see we were pretty rubbish.

Spot on.
No zip, no midfield presence, no nothing

We are now less than Vanilla, we are now a washed out blanched blancmange, ffs.

How was we rubbish? I just don't get it. Everyone has there own opinions but we was far from rubbish.

We haven't seen a lot of him, but I've a suspicion that Casey might be the best centre-half at the club, which puts us in an awkward position given we have the club captain and a major summer signing (whose been good) taking up those 2 positions ahead of him, so not sure who we'd drop to accommodate Casey, although we would likely benefit from doing so.

Not me who needs to get a grip. You’re being emotional. I’ll let it pass.

Widell, and Casey the plus points from tonight but I have to say I’m bitterly disappointed with the performances of Inoussa and Benson when he came on….oh and don’t get me started on Fulton.
