Poor changes by Sheehan. He seems able to set a quality line up or fix an underperforming one, but his changes following a good start seem to always lead to a decline in play.

Hat to say it, but Cullen may be the issue
Cullen I think touched the ball five times after he came on

That is so frustrating, but it was coming. We completely lost all shape and purpose in the last 20 minutes and reverted to desperately defending the lead. We had no attacking intent at all.
Spot on. No idea why we went all defense so early. Should of put it to bed. We looked like we was playing them, some nice place but no intent.

So annoying.

We have the makings of a good unit but need to attack more and get that 2nd goal in games more proactively.

Entirely our fault.

Game changed completely when we brought off Yalcouye, Inoussa and then Franco.

After the changes we resorted to lumping the ball and completely stopped playing. Was always going to be an equaliser.

Played nicely until then.

Dreadful substitutions. Their goal resulted from an awful pass from Cullen when he had all the time in the world.

Ridiculous. Missed a real opportunity.

A win would have seen us go fifth
Switching off at half time and going all out defence for the final twenty minutes cost us

Stupid substitutions and cretinous over passing gave away the initiative. They took it and they deserved to win. Our own fault not to get the 3 points, but a point gained on the play as they should have had 5. Decent game in the end; once again we need more intent with the ball.

It seems to be a thing in football generally but I’ve always felt we have been particularly cursed by this
We’ve sold so many quality players for big money that it’s little wonder we fare worse than most in terms of this stat. It’s not like Aidan Newhouse is coming back to haunt us.
