• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Vic needs to give them a rocket at half time, the passing has been shocking and the thinking slow. Get Widdell off and Yalcoure on, other than that he doesn't have much option going forward, other than Key on at RB and Galbraith to go into midfield in place of Franco.
I would go for Franco off and Galbraith on.

Was really screaming for Widell to get a lot of game time, but is he really much better than Ollie Cooper? Tons of energy, but creates very little, and still waiting to find the net.

Agree totally
Some of the attempts to pass out on the edge of our own box had my ass making buttons

There’s a time to play and a time to just get rid

I was going to mention this, been feeling very Martinesque at times.

Galbraith is everywhere except Right Back, the sort of play that gave Key a bad name

A dreadful half against a poor team, I’m sure the huff and puff merchants will be happy though.
What you’re starting to see is fatigue setting in earlier and earlier in matches, apart from the press we really don’t have much else to offer and that allows bang average teams back into games.
I wound not call this dreadful first half, I thought we looked very good until 25 mins.
Press was ok, and attacking play looked good also.
Then we had a bad 10 mins whereby they scored.
Problem is we only need a bad couple of mins for a team to score against us.

How much did we pay, 3.5M?

🙈

We are not getting bodies in the box... Eom's cross, Tymon's shot which rebounded, Ronald's shot which rebounded. We just don't have players to get into those key areas and read the game apart from Galbraith

I thought Widell has been really good. 😅. Strange how we all see things differently.
I also think that a couple of undercooked passes aside (during a period where the whole team turned universally shit) he has been very good

One feature I have been impressed with is Vipotnik and his link up play

His one touch passing when dropping in to collect the ball has been a delight

It’s just unfortunate that the recipient of those balls is usually Ronald
Yea he's good at that. There's been so many moments where passes like that were on, but it seems everyone else is incapable of a first time pass and needs the touch to slow it all down first.
