Half time thoughts:
Casey and Burgess have been safe as houses
Parker has been busy up and down the right and linking well with Ronald and sometimes Widell
Tymon and Inoussa partnership has been very good, plenty of skill and they both put in excellent crosses
Vipotnik at fault for not moving up with the defensive line to deny the second goal
Galbraith has also been excellent, covering everywhere and distributing the ball well
Cooper I had to double check the team sheet that he was actually playing
Widell started slow but grew into the half, slightly off the pace but the passes he tries are the right ones, forward incisive balls threaded between players
Bit dramatic don’t you thinkWe started off well but gradually lost focus and impetus. Sheehan needs to throw some teacups around and raise his voice at half time. It’s just not good enough.
OK, maybe not teacups.Bit dramatic don’t you think
Hook Vip off for Wales at half time I think
He wasn't exactly Lamal before, but he seems to have regressed in the summer. Where did he go on his holidays?Or give him another 45 and if it doesn't improve, get rid.
Perhaps but we would never know, it was hard and low in the bottom corner, would have been an excellent save if the keeper had reached it."Vipotnik at fault for not moving up with the defensive line to deny the second goal"
Have a feeling the keeper would have got the save in if Vip wasn't blocking his view.
His distribution hasn't been great at all but I do like his physical presence. For me Burgess is streets ahead of Darling ( who i liked btw ) and Galbraith could turn out to be the next Leon, word for Inuossa too.
