• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Who would of thought after 30 games we would be sandwiched between Sheff Utd, Brum, Southampton and Leicester in the league table 😱

Two different Swansea teams today, one in each half. Brilliant, dominant second half show against a pretty crap Watford side. What are they doing so far up the table?
Take a bow, Marco Stamenic, MOTM today.
It did feel like Watford gave up by the end.

Their mascot spent most of the last quarter sitting by their drum looking miserable. Inasumuch as you can tell what a furry hornet is feeling.

To be fair their mascot did applaud us at the end, although there was no one else left in the ground by that point.

Dare I say… if we can get the back to back win next week against Sheff Wed we won’t be miles off play offs

Can't take it for granted, we have traditionally made things hard for ourselves but a few new additions Monday and a win Sunday can change a few things most notably confidence.

First half very scrappy but we gave as good as we got.
Second half we grew into the game more and deserved the win
Watford again offered little more than physicality and some pace
Shows how the bounce of a ball can affect league position
Injuries could affect our line up but we do have something to finish this season and prepare for next

Do you think we’ll bring (m)any in now? Not sure I see any point in more loans and the permanent signings would need to improve the first XI to justify it IMO. Would prefer more thought out decisions after the manager has had another 3 months with the current players.
