• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I’m surprised Jayden Danns hasn’t been linked on a loan for us, Matos brought him through at Liverpool and he’s a good player from what I’ve seen.

Stamenic class again, a deserved win. I was chuckling on the way back to the car thinking of someone thinking Sheehan used to watch him play for Olympiacos and Forest reserves in his spare time 😂

Brilliant performance particularly in the second half, Vipotnik visibly annoyed Galbraith didn’t thread that ball through to him when on the edge of the box, if he would have then I think that’s a 3-0 away win.

Onto Sheff Wed!!!
That’s the bit of his game Galbraith needs to improve to reach the level some think he’s already at. He makes the wrong decision at times. That should improve with experience.

I agree Lisa, this is why I think he’s better deeper. He is much more effective when he can see the pitch in front of him rather than playing the simple intricate passes, he’s not a natural 10 like a Leo Walta appears to be. He showed what he adds to us at RB when he came on, doesn’t stop him playing central and still doesn’t get caught out positionally. I don’t mind him at 6 either but you then lose Stamenic and we suddenly look small.

Franco shoved over the touchline 1st half, no foul, Franco shoves Watford player over touchline virtually identical, ref gives foul...
Franco didn’t help himself though when he deliberately launched himself after he was pushed to make it look a lot worse than it was. It was really obvious on the replay.

Unlike most, I personally believe Stamenic to be our best midfielder at the moment so he has to play at 6 in my view. I also thought Fulton had another good game.

Galbraith has been caught out of position a few times in recent games but that may be tiredness. He was better today positionally when he came on.

I don’t think Ward is the answer at right back other than for shorter periods so Galbraith will have to stay there until we presumably buy a new one in the summer.
