• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I confess I groaned a bit when Cullen came on for Fulton, but I thought he put in an excellent shift today, linking up our play and breaking up theirs.
Also a shout out for Burgess, who totally dominated when Watford threw high balls at us.

Franco didn’t help himself though when he deliberately launched himself after he was pushed to make it look a lot worse than it was. It was really obvious on the replay.
I'll bow yo your superior knowledge, and my inferior ageing eyesight 🙂

Would probably have spun himself into the next century with angst after losing 0-2 down the Vetch in division 3 back in 87 😢
Years ago we'd be happy losing two nil to Watford let alone beating them away from home 😂

I watched the first half of Bristol Rovers and Newport County and it gave me flashbacks to those days.

We should enjoy what we have because none of us know what is around the corner.

I personally think we can go on a run for the play offs, I think we will be one of the fitter teams come the end of the season with our squad depth. The Championship is a very poor league this season.

I watched the whole BR v NC game Smurph, it was like watching Motspurs reserves v Rockspurs reserves circa 1983 😟

Love the optimism but no. This isn’t a play off squad by any stretch.

If Matos can get Yalcouye playing like that on a regular basis he'll be a real asset for the rest of the season, very impressive
Was going to allude to that as well, by far the best I’ve seen from Yalcouye, constantly made himself available for passes and didn’t give it away once. Also broke up a number of their moves. Great show from him.

The Championship is a poor league most seasons. This one stands out because the relegated teams aren't clear at the top. The key is consistency. If we put a couple of runs of results together, and we're certainly capable of it, there's no reason why we can't be contenders for a top six spot.

Hull are third and we could, probably should have taken at least a point up there. Same at Coventry. Wrexham are sixth and tactically they looked very limited down here.
