• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Reading JH's excellent bio of the ref for the next match, I take three things from it. He appears to be a decent guy in real life. He's not trigger happy with cards. He's a jinx, refereeing two of our games this season neither of which we won although we should have won both.

Do people who saw him in action for West Brom and Birmingham have any thoughts?
I don’t think the ref lost us the West Brom game. We did that all by ourselves.
So he’s reffed us in a loss and a draw. Time for the win 🙂

Preston was an odd one as, unless i'm mistaken, more often than not at home in the big game occassions we usually turn up and put a good account of ourselves up, but everything was just flat.

Tough ask I think though Friday to go up there and get 3 points, away form poor and they'll be bang up for it not wanting to lose the third in a row in what people label welsh derbies. Would make the rest of the season interesting though to say the least if we pulled it off. Coventry and Boro to come at home but in front of near enough full houses at home I'd fancy us to give both a game.

I'd happily take a loss on Friday if it guaranteed a win against Coventry.

No no no not for me .lose to Wrexham no way .
We have a good chance of beating Wrexham
Coventry should be a brilliant game.
Swans home record against the best team in the League live on TV full stadium .

.

2 - 1 to the Swans - yet another resounding away win :

- It's only been a matter of time that our young talented squad would truly have the belief, confidence and chutzpah to kick on and take our nailed on Promo quality home form to away grounds - and the boys' chutzpah showed up in spades vs Portsmouth, as predicted.

We have now properly blossomed into the formidable force we expected from our top notch quality squad and top notch quality young coach.

Proper best in class, on and off the pitch.

I'm going with 2-1 as well, I can see Wrexham's bottle going from here on in.

I am quietly confident on this one. I can't see us losing this game.
The fact that Moore is out is also an added bonus for us.

It feels like a make or break game for us.
2 points gap to a possible 8 points gap.

Matos has such a great attitude. The questions were often stupid trying to box him into some stupid responses and he just batted everything away. 'One game at a time', 'competing tomorrow'. This guy comes across as a real pro.

It's not make or break at all. We are second favourites and have a tough run in. If you seriously think we could scrape into the play offs it would be Cooperesque spawn, and every game is make or break. That's why there is almost no chance.

those that thought Vito was a massive risk clearly didn't do anything near the same level of due diligence our best in class recruitment apparatus did

If we win, we will be 2 points off 6.
Let's dream a little hey.

I do agree though with you on a few of your points.

Just saying it's not make or break, that's all. Happy to dream, but also to keep my feet on the ground and realise it is actually a dream.
