S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea 1 Derby 2 | Att: 14,251 | 25/11/25 | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

Judging by the crowd tonight - the actual real one, not the one they'll officially report - that was the absolute hardest of the hardcore. Die hards.

After nearly 5 years of putting up with Martin, Duff, Williams, Sheehan and being bored to tears, then having to endure 90 mins of that utter crap, I think we can allow them a few boos at the end. Don't you?
I assume that the boos were for the players.

Only cos Galbraith is too short for the Keepers Jersey.

What were the tactics tonight then? High line, give away counter attacks at will, Cabango in possession absolute rubbish, almost cost us 2 goals, for about 100 times this season.. Derby were sitting, waiting for a weakness and exploited it with ease.. football has changed and we haven't adapted.. I'm hopeful Matos can adapt, but we need a reality check about what's happening out on the pitch, plus our mentality is absolutely shocking, we concede and collapse

Anyone who thought tonight was going to be anything different is living on another planet. New Manager needs to coach a new way of playing into these guys.
You mean it doesn't come instantly?!

Some positive signs today, but obviously lots for Matos to work on. Looking forward to The Hawthorns 💪

In his interview, Matos said he was looking forward to this game establishing a base line from which we could improve.

He certainly has that.

Absolutely nothing, I gave up expecting anything from this club a long time ago. I'm just stating an opinion that I think this is the worse I've seen them play this season, if you think otherwise goodie goodie gumdrops for you.
I think the same , but I did think we would get worse before starting to get better.

Welcome to Swansea.
The team that keeps gifting and it's not Christmas yet.
How.so many 'professional' footballers can choose the wrong option and give.possession away is unbelievable.
Derby were a solid.organised team and it could have been much worse.
The efforts was there especially in the first half but the teamwork was in the easy part of the pitch and lacking at both ends.
The bounce of a ball went against us a couple of times but was mainly down to intent of winning or wanting the ball.
Don't stand waiting make things happen.
It's a massive job to turn things around as quite a few players are plainly not up to it.

Will be very little movement, we blew virtually all our budget in the summer.

I would suspect the owners will be wary of giving any remaining money given what we are now seeing from the players who did arrive in the summer.
Player sales, loan recalls and loan signings very likely

These days they give us TVs, the internet, drugs delivered by drones, room service. It's brilliant. They even let us out for the odd away match.
That made me think of the years spent at the Vetch with the prison next door where (apparently) loads used to follow all of our home games through the crowd noise.
