The money we are wasting on players wages that don’t contribute to the first team, has to be a big concern going forwards.
This has to be down to the recruitment set up in the first place.
It’s false economy to skimp on the expertise required, to run it efficiently.
You’d like to assume the grown ups trust the set up they have in place.

Football is squad game these days, we need an element of player who is happy to recognise their place in the squad as back up and if they get their chance they take it.

Santos was never going to be anything other than 4th choice CB. Ben and Cameron have been fit the whole time, he wouldn’t be expected to play unless injuries and suspensions. The next 4th choice CB will likely not play either…

I was including loanees as well, re wages. Benson, Santos, Bianchini ( still 2 yrs left on contract) Fisher, and a possible Idah ? Granted early days, but if you’d listened to Celtic fans, they couldn’t believe their luck on unloading him for £6m
