Can someone explain this excuse to me from the interview linked in Darrans post where Martin is explaining player tiredness. Did they take the scenic route?

“The fact is we've had 21 hours on the bus this week”

Bloody didums Russ, you bellend. How much has your bank balance grown by in the same period? How about my daughter's hospital doctor boyfriend who's working 7.30 till 22.00 most days with no break. You dopey lot don't know you're born. A bunch of mid 20 year olds can't kick a ball around twice a week.

In fairness I can vouch for how tiring the coach journeys to Blackpool and back and Peterborough and back were and how much they take out of you.
That said, my best years are behind me.
I am not a 20 something ( or even 30 something) professional athlete working 4 and a half hours a week plus some training ...
