• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Robinson just said that it's not good enough for a team with our players not winning against Rotherham and that its not acceptable.

Then Morrison started waffling off about Martin being a good manager but understands the boos.

That’s lazy punditry and falls into the trap of thinking we’ve got good players. Seriously, who in our team are solid Championship level starters? Manning, Grimes, Piroe? Jay just about. Cabango maybe in a team that doesn’t ask him to play football. There’s a player in Ntcham somewhere.

The rest are poor.

I feel sorry for him. It’s obvious he’s got feck all to work with. But it’s also obvious he doesn’t know what to do with what he’s got. Desperate times.

It comes to something when you’re watching and you become numb to whatever the result will be.

Exactly this. Under normal circumstances I’d have been bricking it for the last 10-15 mins, desperate for us not to lose, but now I really don’t care. That’s the worst thing, that’s the saddest indictment of this nobhead’s reign.

It goes deeper than him. He’s an easy target (and isn’t doing well, I’m not arguing that point), but those who put him there and who have no vision or passion for the club are the real problem.

The whole club is drifting with no leaders or direction on and off the pitch.
Due to age I've seen us in worse league positions, but felt as, if however bad, everyone was giving their all for the best for the club.
Now I just feel there is nothing, the club is a shell and so is the team. If we manage to stay up, then I can only see us being in a relegation position for all of next season.

Yep, on all points. We lack a heart or any sort of identity right now. Not surprising given our soulless ownership structure.

Superb post.

In sickens me, it shouldn't be like this, you look at teams that play us and can see positives. Then off the pitch we have to listen to bland meaningless words.
I've posted in another thread that it hurts. I want the club in my life, but I won't accept being taken for a mug.

If I’m honest I made my mind up in November 2021 when we were 1-0 down away to Boro and with five minutes to go we were passing the ball around the back four instead of getting it up field to try and at least get a draw.

It happened tonight on 45 minutes when we had opportunity after opportunity to put it into the box, for us to only pass it backwards so the ref could blow the whistle on 45+2
