• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Halftime thoughts:

Good game of football, both sides playing some good stuff and mostly cancelling each other out. Neither side at fault for the goals they scored.

Ashby was quiet until his assist, hopefully that will do his confidence some good because he has not lived up to the hype before today.
Key on the other hand has been superb, endless stamina and always willing to attack the defenders.
Patino seems to have been deployed as a third central midfielder rather than in an attacking role, right now we have three such midfielders doing that and the forwards are isolated and feeding off scraps. We need a number 10 in there to link midfield and attack, give Grimes and Patino someone to hit who can turn and feed Piroe, Yates, Key and Ashby - we need Ginnelly on the pitch and to either pull off a centre half or Fulton.

Agree with all of that. I’d prefer to see Patino pushed further forward. Fulton having a nightmare with his end product, so looks likely to be one of the first to be pulled.

Yep, Gino on for the second half

I wonder if more managers are going to start taking advantage of the extra subs and start making changes sooner?

Alan Curtis sounds as if he definitely prefers us this season.

He was quite negative in his previous game but seems better today.

Shut your beak Roger is it, all your good for is slagging the club off. Hardly Einstein yourself love.

He's a bluebird wum. Don't waste your time.
