• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Bravo ladies. Chuft for you.
And that wouldn't have happened under Luke.

That doesn't even tell all of the story, a lot of crosses along the six yard box just beyond or behind an attacker too which won't get picked up on those stats

Okay, so that's maybe 5 all season. By all means he's good enough to be in the squad (I hope he's going for his coaching badges whilst there) but he's not good enough often enough for me. We obviously disagree which is fine. As for my eye sight....I am wearing contacts and reading glasses to type this. Make of that what you will 😁
I'm not counting any game under Williams, outside of that one 3-0 win against Preston he never once got a proper performance out of the players in like 33 games.

In 8 games under Sheehan he has played 4 times and was excellent in all of them, getting an assist against Leeds and making a game winning tackle against Derby plus he was the foundation everything today came from.

O'Brien is my man of the match but Joe was not far behind.

If there is a negative, I'm super gutted for VP tonight. But he got himself in great positions and we would be complaining if he didn't. Wasn't his night, but still he played well. That's good sign to come if he keeps it up. Bring on Saturday 😉

Well done boys, a great performance.

However, a few worrying signs amongst the subs. Coops was way off the pace and was a liability much of the time. Fulton was also negative, which I can forgive, but was also giving the ball away and not contributing anything. Biancini made some bad decisions when played through with the ball at his feet. Naughton was content just to pass back, pass back, pass back. Understandable, but he has no pace left.
We must do better. Sunderland won't be so forgiving.

He'll get 15+ next season imo

Christ that's one hell of a take

Just highlights why he's not the right choice as manager over a forty six game season.

No doubt sub bench is lacking. Our best 11 was out there. Fulton, looked like he was strolling at one point. And Cooper I think is trying to get game time. Naughton was being experienced, I had no problem with that. I would like next season a few under 21 and fresh faces.
