Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Cardiff City 3 Swansea City 0 | The EFL Championship

That was not great.

Things are just looking a bit flat at the moment, having a thin squad and players involved who are not fully fit doesn't help.

Williams needs to pick this lot up and the board needs to pick some players up ASAP to freshen things up.

Things are certainly not good at present and it can't be argued with.

No hiding from this one. We need to get on with the important things now and freshen up what looks like a small and tired squad.

You seem to be hiding from apportioning any blame to the manager for how the team plays football? Squad definitely needs strengthening, but if you think that's all that's the matter with today's performance, I think you're not seeing that elephant.

Slow passing among centre-halves, out to Grimes, back to centre-halves, slowly out wide to static wide player facing his own goal with 3 defenders on him.. Back to Grimes whose dropped behind the back line, out to centre-halves. Opposition standing off as we're not threatening at all. Ball occasionally drops into central areas, then quickly back to centre-halves, then slowly out to static wide players facing their own goal. Central attacking players might as well not be on the pitch.

Repeat until you forget that football wasn't always like this and this is just how it has to be forever and ever, amen.
But, but the DATA!

Is there anything more pathetic than players/manager/staff clapping their own supporters when they've just had a spanking from their biggest rivals. If I were there in the ground I think I'd turn my back and look the other way. Get in the dressing room sharpish, don't even shower, get on the bus and back down the M4. Oh, and don't show your face in public for a while.

As well as escorting the bald vanboy off the premises, Grimes has to be stripped of the captaincy immediately. Don’t care who gets it, but the dressing room cabal needs to be smashed.

How can I put this diplomatically? You massive plum.

Of course he needs to take part of the blame but there is certainly a far bigger picture here if we want to discuss the elephant in the room.

Terrible performance, we didn't seem to have the passion even leading up to it and we're for ed to play 2 centre halves who are not fully fit.

Things are not right at the club, I wouldn't go as far as to say it's broken whilst sitting 13th in the league.
The whole place needs a boost from management to fans and getting the required players in is the way to do that.

Hopefully this result gives Williams and others the kick up the rear.....hopefully more so the board to get the players in that we do desperately need.

I am not happy as I type this but trying to keep a clear mind at the same time.

There are going to be a lot of angry people and posts today....I get that.

Nothing to do with a thin squad, The eleven that started that game had enough quality to win this game.

The failure lays with Williams who doesn't have a plan A let alone a plan B.

Williams can fuck off and take Nostradapus with him.
I'm now agreeing that he is a Martin lite.

Superlative city

The post match talk should be full of it including they wanted it more, the players weren't hungry enough blah blah

maybe our supporters should have sung sacked in the morning

They didn't even turn up, I'm not sure what the gameplan was?

Grind out a draw? Come on mate, that was turgid and if people aren't getting screamed at right at this very second I'd be concerned.

Thought the Hull and Portsmouth displays would have given the manager the boot up the ass he deserved, but apparently not, never learned anything from them defeats and turned in an absolute horror show today. He needs to go , NOW.

At least Martin had a game plan.

Williams reminds me of a local league manager.

1 or 2 games aside, it's been dog turd for months. This isn't a recent problem.
