Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | FT Swansea City 1 Sheffield United 2 | The EFL Championship

I saw it from the South Stand and wasn't close up like you. Darling definitely lined up Brewster and it was an unnecessary challenge.
It might have been unnecessary but I promise you, if one of their players does that at Bramall Lane, he would never be sent off in a million years.

It was absolute bollocks.

He wouldn't have had a card

Burnley away another example

'Big teams' win the majority of their games in this league like this, not because they are much better than other sides

Sheff and the horrible northern cunt wilder should be absolutely embarrassed after that

What on earth do you mean never in it? We battered then first half saint

Get we
Don't like Williams but your post is just plain wrong there
Decent first half granted. But even without the sending off, du honestly think we'd have got anything outa that? We folded from the 46th min. Was only going one way pal.

A better performance overall, although that wasn't difficult given the shite we've witnessed recently. First half was most things that people have been begging Williams to do for months: More tempo to our play, less faffing around with the ball for the sake of it, Grimes actually spending time in midfield.

Sadly for the second half Sheff Utd came out like they'd had a rocket up their arses and we came out like the half time Lucozade had been spiked with Tramadol. I'd love to know what he says to them. Familar story after that, although pleasing to see how hard most of them battled as the half wore on and the ref's insanity grew.

A draw yes. Point is the ref ruined it first half though - norringtin Davies shouldn't have been on the pitch and the handball was a joke

It would have been a pen on MPh too if he had gone down like their striker

We are a stupid football team with no brains, why don't we dive and do all that crap like other teams do

Needs to be taken out of the team.

He should have been onto the ref and in his ear as soon as Sheffield Utd started playing up early in the 2nd half. He should have been putting decisions in his head and when the Darling decision comes along then he has to take a step back on his decision.......it was too easy for him to just get the red card out, he had it too easy from our captain.
The blokes a mute.

If you want to see how a captain acts just watch Van Dijk for Liverpool.

A real leader on the pitch.

Do you know what, if MPH had gone down...he wouldn't have given a pen.
The handball was right Infront of him and he took mo time to say no pen.

We just wanted a level playing field tonight and didn't get it.

One of those nights. Showed a lot of spirit, played well in the first half and some of it when down to 10 men. Key gives my a heart attack far too often with his defending but a lot of the players put in a massive shift tonight. The front three ran their socks off when down to 10 men and we still managed to create space v 11 but not that final pass. No complaints about their pen but we had a good shout in 1st half and ref could easily have given some second yellows to them.
I don't The Blades look a patch on thir Yorkshire rivals.
The pitch is poor and the gate disappointing but predictable, although those who were there got behind the team when down to 10.
After a miserable weekend I feel a little more encouraged bar the suspension of Darling.
