• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The biggest clue for me is when we get a throw in...very little movement or desire to want the ball.
Tymon consistently throws the ball 30 yds backwards, generally from inside the opposition half. It's what these players have been told to do , once you get the ball pass backwards or sideways and look for Grimes, he's usually between or behind the centre backs.

The central problem is that the team has become very predictable and very slow in development of play.

Williams simply refuses to admit that his old fashioned tactics that are the problem, and is casting about hoping that by moving players to different positions he will unlock success.

A manager who is deceiving himself and failing has to go.

I remember Sargent's second goal, Grimes and a few of the other midfielders, stopped running completely and just watched Sargent smash it in the net. I'm sure they could have helped out the new guy in defence.

I’ve been saying this for ages.
When a team is confident things happen quickly.
Been happening since Martin’s awful run.

Williams is thick, tactically inept, boring and uninspiring.

However our problems go far, far deeper than him.

We'll no doubt sack him in due course and rightly so. The new manager will be even shitter though, no doubt

This’ll cheer everyone up. The Derby keeper just probably handed the scum the points.

Oh, now el khazi scores too. They’ll be above us soon.

Joke of a team. However derby battered them first half, they changed things and are
Now 2-0 up

It's amazing what a bit of confidence does in football because they looked down and out 5 games ago. Cunts

Cardiff winning is the best result for us in that game.

Keeps us 7 points off the drop zone and a 3 game gap rather than 2.
