Yeah, I disagree. He very much is the main problem.
Key in CM, Tymon trying to get into CM (but he’s too slow), Grimes at sweeper, a ten on the wing, a winger up top, Abdulai played wide, insistence in the safe pass, I could go on. This is all because of Williams.
That’s not to say that we don’t have issues elsewhere, but our on field performance is first and foremost driven by tactics and formation.
Williams is responsible for tactics, training and selecting the players and in game management.Yeah, I disagree.
I think there’s a cancer at the club and it isn’t Williams.
So nothing to do with playing grimes as a rb and key as a midfielder? GotchaYeah, I disagree.

Thanks SkippyMotm first half, had to bail out our back two in Cabango.. 2nd half Cabango turned into a parks footballer and he had 4 jobs to do, 5 if we're including Grimes in his 1st start
Thank you mateHim and Ronald the only players even remotely quarter decent. Effed up for a goal but looks a decent signing.
Grimes?Yeah, I disagree.

Got to say that a new manager might at least play tidy tactics, a tidy team and get the players up for the game. We know the players aren't good enough but a bit of passion and desire might help and appease us fans. At the moment we lie down. Luke can't get any of the aforementioned qualities. I don't think we expect miracles results wise from a newmanager. It's the performance we expect to be betterMust add, we only a signed a player this week because Darling was suspended.
Place is a shiitshow that has crept down from the top.
Agree that Williams is a giner but anyone expecting this circus to just change with a new manager in is really hoping.
Sorry, Lisa, I usually like your posts, a lot of common sense to them. However, the manager issues the tactics and trains the team. I said elsewhere that Williams doesn't seem to see the same team or onfield play that we do, that's not a good trait. It's common for football managers to dismiss the views of us common fans, but I think they do that at their peril. My first game was at 4/5 years old. 1955. I've seen them all come and go, players and managers, and though I couldn't do it myself, I feel I know a good 'un when I see them. Let's face up, Stevie Wonder could see that a) Grimes isn't captain material b) if you don't attack enough and shoot enough, you don't win (you can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket). One fawning interview (who is that guy?) did it for me, after we'd won a couple of games, waxing lyrical about Grimes, as said interviewer, the guy asking the questions, said that Grimes can EVEN head the ball (??), to which Williams replied "Yes, amazing isn't it?". I just thought "Are we referring to the same person here?". Time is up.Yeah, I disagree.

Williams is part of the problem but not the only one.Yeah, I disagree.

He does need to go imo, but I have posted before that there are deep problems.
Our owners and non football staff have no idea how to run the club.
We have a recruitment structure that doesn't seem to have enough knowledge.
The players themselves however poor tactics are show a total lack of passion, grit and the will to win the ball.
They are lightweight and lack teamwork, no movement and the over to you mentality.
That buffer from the bottom 3 could well disappear especially as I expect us to lose against Coventry and Bristol City.
Williams keeps mentioning that we need consistency.
Well he needs to open his eyes we already have it.
You think Williams played Grimes at right back? Really? So nothing to do with playing grimes as a rb and key as a midfielder? Gotcha
I had to read that twice.I went for a walk today instead of watching this, I'm so glad.
I don’t think it’s an individual player and wasn’t inferring that. It’s more of a culture thing rather than a person.Grimes?
