• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

One shot on target…”we need to be more clinical”. “We controlled the game”. “As a manager I’m a great bus driver”
Can only be clinical in getting chances has he realised yet that we don't make enough of them.

Out of the 72 EFL clubs, only Tranmere have scored fewer goals than us this season

We're an ok-ish side in the first two-thirds of the pitch. Functional. Solid. Organised. Not good, but not shite either.

In the final third, you'd probably see more penetration from a 95-year old man with furred up arteries who's never heard of Viagra.

That's the long and the short of it.
Functional/solid.
Jesus fckn wept.
Yeah OK.
Opinions I guess.

Rarely post but that was a dreadful watch. Only positive was a clean sheet.
Made worse by the fact that they were somehow even worse than us. I wouldn't be surprised to see this as a League 1 fixture soon.

100%. Although the last third starts in our middle third, but we do have some structure. Maybe not the best example of it tonight, as we were sloppy allover thi pitch, but still Wednesday wouldn't have scored if we carried on playing until Christmas. We're just so sh*t on the ball going forward that it hurts. I'm not looking forward to the effort of a trip to the Swansea.com on Saturday after that.

Talking of Sousa - so far this season we've been almost as miserly at the back as his team was. We'd better hope that doesn't change, because if we start leaking goals, we are going to be in enormous trouble.

And his array of forwards consisted of Kuqi, Pintado, Trundle, Dyer and Van der Gun. Yet we still scored more than we do now.

And the mad thing is if we were average or slighrtky worse than average we'd comfortably be in the play offs

Over five and a half games (8hrs) since we put the ball in the net. I wonder what's longest we've gone without scoring

Every single one of those 5 players would walk into the current side. And it's not even close.

No win in 5, no goal in how long ?
We are in a false position and we are in trouble pal.

He is pitiful. There's nothing there.

Same as Cullen, Ronald, Eom, Abdullai, Peart-Harris and Bianchini.

Don't let anyone tell you these are Championship standard forwards. Utter crap, the lot of them.
Awfully harsh on Eom and Vipotnik, especially Eom. The rest are all up for debate, Ronald looked half lively today, but Eom looked really solid before his injury.

I'm in a minority of 1 on here, but I think Vipotnik will turn into a good player. He's obviously not particularly mobile, so he needs the ball around the 18 yard box which he literally never gets. He's consistently turning with the ball 40 yards from goal, laying it off, and not seeing it again
