• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Not a good sign for sales of they are having to do this.
They’re even offering people to test the South Stand out before the season ends, uptake must be a shambles for that stand next season, shame to see.

I'd love to see the figures for sales
If I was a betting man we'd normally be on about 5k surely by now?
I'd bet less than half that now

Incredible.

What is there to test? 😂

Do the seats work differently?

Be better testing it out when there's no game on, if you had tried it out in the last month you wouldn't be coming back. What a dreadful shambles the club is at the moment.
They should pay people to test it on match day 😉

We just needed quick exciting wingers to be an outlet and provide a bit of excitement.
I’ve renewed because my boy is obsessed and it would have broken his heart if we hadn’t. This would have been the year that I gave up though. Portsmouth was the day I stopped trying to be positive.

My boy started going this season. Up until then, he hadn't shown much interest. First few games I think the novelty factor kept him interested - the whole experience itself rather than the football. After that wore off about 4 or 5 games in, I asked him if he fancied the next one and he said "no thanks Dad, it's actually really boring, I'd rather stay home and play Playstation with the boys".

What does that tell you?

I worry a whole generation of fans is going to be lost if the club doesn't get its act together soon.

You've got to get the product right or people simply won't come anymore, they'll go and do other things they enjoy more instead.

As people don't renew season tickets the younger generation won't be going and we'll back to them youngsters supporting top Premier League sides and lots of their shirts being worn around the city rather than Swans tops.

I think they're taking a big chance, extending Early Bird to the end of April. Our fate will almost certainly be settled by then, and if it is relegation, I imagine a fair proportion of those people who have hung back until the new deadline will say "f*ck it".
