It’s a sad state of affairs when the underlying feeling is that I need to vote tactically, rather than for the party which outshines the others both in terms of policy set and political nous.
I don’t quite understand the need to vote tactically with the new system. Surely you just vote for the one of the 6 parties that you prefer?

Everything points toward a coalition or minority government with support from other parties. That will either be made up of some combination of Plaid/Labour/Green/Lib Dems on the left or Reform/Conservatives on the right. Recent polling suggests it’ll be around 60% to 40% for the former so more likely to the some combination of the 1st four.

The danger is overreacting in this instance. Reform will blow themselves out.

It’s difficult to counter constant lies. As the old saying goes “a lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has got his trousers on”. Never been more true than in the digital age unfortunately.
As long as it’s not a blow out on the back of a disastrous term governing Wales.

Latest polls suggest Reform as slightly the biggest party but well short of a majority. Hopefully Reform continues to perform poorer in actual elections than in polling as they have done recently.
IF the polls are correct, Reform and Conservative will be on about 45 seats which is uncomfortably close to a workable number.
If Plaid need the support of more than one other party it may be difficult for them to maintain enough support to do what it wants long term.
We live in interesting times.

This is the most important election, Senedd or Westminster, that Wales has ever had. We can’t afford to get it wrong and become the UK’s Reform guinea pig.

Plaid's talking horse and Labours goon Eluned Morgan going for it, typical talking answer won't answer a question :ROFLMAO:

Just got to hope for the Caerphilly spirit to prevail, but you really can't underestimate the gullibility of the average voter. You'd think Brexshit and all the funding lost to Wales by their idiocy might just ring some bells, but no.

I do fear the worst. The saving grace is that I always do 😆

More gutting, I just found out my old best mate from Penlan, who I hoped would come to his senses, is standing for reform in Surrey.

Last part is very true and I think despite working together in the past they’d be reluctant to go into an official coalition with Labour due to the optics as much as anything else.

They may well have no choice but to do that. So many fools voting, believing shite they see on Facebook and Twitter. It’s a bullshitters paradise out there.
