• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Fowler...he's from bloody Clase. I think we did pop in the Raven once...in our blazers with satchels. They served us no questions asked, obviously.
You must have been in the top stream at Colditz to be sporting a blazer! I wore my big kids hand me down jumper, 2 size's to big 👍😂

I remember when moanmouth said inflation will stay the same.. only a f*cking goon could see that it wasn't..

Mods…can you change my name to Moanmouth for the last few weeks? I really like that. I wish I’d thought of it all those years ago.

As the site is closing, I’d just like to say to Skip and anyone else I’ve offended

Is this necessary, honestly, mods.. are you going to let these two pr*cks continuously mock me.. why don't you get off your high horse you old miserable c*nt.. and smurph is just a teenager living in a 50 year old body.. I'm surprised his wife has stuck around
Can't argue with your description of me and yes I often ask myself why she's stuck around as well.

I think my vote will go to Plaid, kind of weird in a way I considered Labour the other day, as much as Iv’e slagged them off, I don’t want the uncertainty of Plaid or Reform.

Had nothing but party literature through the post last month, took a quick look at them, and I must say Plaid doesn’t fill me with hope, yet as a tactical vote I will go for them.

You considered Labour?

Wow. I genuinely cannot comprehend how anyone beyond someone very very poor would vote for them in Wales now. Shocking record.

So if Plaid win, do they go into coalition with Labour?
If the polls are correct then it is likely yes, or they will form a minority government I suppose. Or Reform win and it goes tits up.

I’d imagine they’d try to avoid that (a formal coalition), purely from an optics point of view if nothing else.

As with any country with PR you’ll be relying on other parties to vote through certain policies over the 4 year term though, as the whole point is that you get an outcome that greater reflects the actual overall votes and it’s therefore rare for one party to gain a majority.
