Sheffield United

They won't be panicking yet and neither should they. Their performances are ok but not creating enough chances. Bit like us the year we went down. But they've a better manager than we had.

1 point from 9 games now

It's very difficult to turn around that kind of form whether they think they are better than that or not

You start a season broadly needing a point a game they are now up to needing the kind of form that would generate almost 50 points in a season

For all the plaudits they got last season they got 54 points

The bottom 4 in the Premier league are in danger of being cast adrift if they aren't careful.

Huge game next for Sheffield United away to West brom

Good as down with Fulham and WBA

Burnley have been gradually heading that way mind last few years as well.

The games between those four sides will end up determining it

A lot of people writing off Brewster and the blades
Far to early for that

25% into the season isn't that early?

They are in a relegation battles all season now, they may get out of it but they need to turn it around quickly. After West Brom it's Leicester then before Christmas away to Southampton and Brighton and home to Man Utd. 14 games played by Christmas - they really need to be in double figures by that point.

Brewster to Sheffield United was always an odd move, we know he's a quality player but - as others have shown - being a quality player with a club struggling at the bottom of the table is not something that will shine through always

Always felt was a year too soon for Brewster in the PL. If he'd stayed here for another season, with the way we are playing hed have got 20 goals by May no probs. Was it Liverpool/his ego or a greedy fckn agent that had final say ?

Looking like a busted flush but plenty of time for them to put a run together and get the season going. Worse teams have stayed up with a lot less time to turn things around.

Losing again today at half time

Would give them 1 point from 12 if it stays that way.

Made Southampton look like Bayern Munich. Sheffield Utd look like a Championship team, and a mid table one at that.

I wonder what odds the bookies will give on them beating Derby’s record?

One point from 36 with very little real quality and no confidence? They’ll do well to get out of that. Will need to do more than just beat those around them, and they haven’t been able to even do that.

Is Chris Wilder protecting Brewster? Maybe they’re reconciled to demotion and are keeping the youngster out of it so as not to damage his development. If they keep him, he could be an important factor in getting the promoted next season.

They purchased him to spearhead their survival from relegation. I'm not seeing the logic in picking the two strikers that started today over Brewster.
