• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

So does Laura…it’s obvious to everyone that he has a private GP and it shows the naïveté of Sunak to think he can convincingly dodge the question.

Wouldn't it have made sense for him to have admitted he pays for private healthcare? He's exceedingly wealthy, so of course he does.

He can spin it as using his wealth to relieve pressure on the NHS. I imagine that won't go down well with the Tory base though, who want to keep their wealth while moaning about the state of the NHS.

I doubt Rishi is a fan of Ken Clarke's suggestion on how to fix the NHS, which seemed sensible to me. Basically, make it means-tested like prescriptions in England, so the better off pay modest charges to see GP and have routine operations.

I agree and he could have explained it away (in fact, those with private healthcare through an employer or donor also pay income tax on the Benefit in Mind which boosts the Exchequer’s coffers so more can go into the NHS).

What worries me about Sunak is that he is Tory, a mega rich Tory and so out of touch with reality and people that is deeply disturbing,

I don't see the issue here, I'd love to see the Tory party completely eradicated, but I've no issue with him or anyone else that has private health care. In fact, there should be more of it for those that can afford it. Less strain on the NHS, whilst also still paying towards it.

I agree although why he doesn't admit is weird and poor politics. Thatcher admitted it straight away and said she was running the country and need to be back on her feet ASAP.
Typical Thatcher of course but no one was left wondering.

Yeah i agree, it's very silly of him.

Can only put it down to the current mob of tories find it impossible to admit anything at all. Impossible for them to tell the truth.

Do you think Russ is a Tory then, he has an aversion to telling the truth….?
