If the objective of football was to keep the ball in our own half and keep passing it backwards, while playing slow. We would win everyday.

Also to mention never forget if you want to go backwards as a football player, get coached by Williams and Co. The sad thing is with new sporting director we will be in this situation this time next year. Williams is not going anywhere.

My short lived and false positivity from Sunday has been erased. Oh how I love football.

A big problem we have is no pace anywhere in the side which restricts us to over passing in the wrong areas
A winger with pace was on the agenda in the summer window and then the latest window.

Failed to deliver!

Ronald? Parker? Any Under 21? Govea? There is some pace, just the coaching has told players, pass backwards. You could see it from Williams, everytime he was in camera, he was pointing backwards.

Exactly like Martin did, and Martin used to go mad when we took a shot outside the box

It's losing to teams who are total dross that's killing us. Not now n again..but all the time now.
We are so easy to play against, what wer trying to do may work if you are moving it quicker with pace. We literally have nothing.

No idea what we're trying to di

It's like under 10s football, get on the pitch boys, try and pass to one another and see what happensp

Passing crisply in front of a player would be good.

He’d still probably turn back.

We must be a dream to play against.
At one point in the first half, we finally managed to work it out wide, Ronald looked up and there was a line of players, 6 in dark shirts and one in white.
We could have Dixie Dean up front and he wouldn’t have a sniff.

Bianchini isn't exactly slow, same with Ronald.
Eom sometimes looks like he is running through treacle and MPH isn't much better.

However our manager insists on running Ronald as a wingback and Bianchini as a striker.
Its not that he doesn't have the tools, he is just a tool.

Glad more and more people are understanding that the way Williams is sending them out to play is a bigger issue for us than any of the players. It's Martin football without Piroe to dig him out of the messes it inevitably leads to.

Our squad isn't great but it's better than this. We have seen it do better than this in amongst the crap, another hallmark of the Russy style.

Williams needs to be gone and any trace of this shit blasted from the club, with fire.

We’ll get told the usual crap that they’ve already started working on summer recruits.
Like we were told last summer about January.
The amount of shit that comes out from the mouths of the Swansea hierarchy is The Swansea Way.

We as fans need to take some responsibility here too.

Many of us, myself included until very recently, insisted "the Swansea Way" style of football on the pitch be upheld at all times, with no compromise on "purity".

What's become very clear - started with Martin probably - is that this has been seized upon by a rudderless leadership as a crutch to hide behind.

"You wanted this? You got it"

Except what's been served up to us in recent times is a cheap and tacky pale imitation of "it". We're complaining about it, but the truth is that's all they're doing is giving us what we asked for (albeit very badly).

Time has come to put it to bed. This is zombie football being justified by "tradition". Time to chuck the tradition in the bin, and start being open to something new, something that actually works and isn't just a rubbish tribute act.
