So where is everybody off on holidays then?

Good Memory DJack! It will actually be 4 years this coming Thursday 23rd May that I was booked to fly out to Peru in 2020. No, I never did get there and lost quite a bit of money on that as KLM would only give me a voucher valid until the end of 2021 and there were still travel restrictions in place in Peru. I'd more or less given that one up for good but things change and it may be back on my list now but I think next year will probably be my last chance as tackling something like that at 73 will be a challenge that would have been a lot more feasible at 5 years younger.
Sorry to hear that buddy.

Since the love of my life passed away couple of years back, have not been anywhere. Now through sheer luck I've met someone lovely we are off to Chania/Crete. Never been....if anyone has, what can we expect?
Been there several times in the past twelve years, not so much Chania but Kolymbari, a small fishing village up the coast a bit. Used to get the bus into Chania, the nearest big touristy town for a day out. Chania's lovely, with an old town with narrow winding streets and a beautiful big harbour with bars and restaurants ringing the quayside.
Get a hire car for a few days at least and get into the mountains and hidden bays on the far west of the island, it's lush.

Had a week in NZ for my uncle's 90th, now into the second week of a two week stay in Bali, Newquay for 4 days in September.

NZ amazing but this was just a family visit. Bali is crazy traffic & bikes everywhere but extreme beautiful. Rounding up the last few days with a change of hotel and pace just to relax. So far managing the heat & humidity and avoided the dreaded Bali belly.

Booked a fortnights holiday with work today, fuk knows what we'll do, but at least I can look forward to a fortnight off.

What bitters are you drinking, that's the question and always the answer.. or delve into the cider market, make it a marathon

Yeah but I don’t care because I’m not a drama Queen like some people.
Ooh you're ard (Ricky Gervais).. nobody on this forum gets more stick than me, it's proven, I'm the guy that gets the most grief, maybe jack123 over takes me, or resloven on the other forum..

That Resolven fella is a strange one, his obsession with sheep and the ladies team strike me as rather peculiar.

Deserves all the grief he gets with some of his views.
For saying that sheep slurs are offensive and the u21s look promising, and Huw Jenkins and the sell outs did a good job.. calling the yanks good investors, which they are according to accounts.. they're putting in millions.. he just focuses on these four subjects.. doesn't budge.. it's just a forum where all the world's weirdos vent vitriol
