Summer Transfer Window

I'm aware a few posters see Vip, Cullen and Wales and possibly even Yates as enough to cover a striker position. For me a physical target man who can press, hold the ball up and convert crosses is a must. Not sure any of the above ticks those boxes.
Never been convinced about Vipotnik, he looks slow and sluggish, almost as if he's walking in treacle, and after the Plymouth game last season I'm convinced he's not the answer. Should have come away with the match ball with the easy chances he had, and came away with nothing. If he's here next season i hope he proves me wrong, but i have my doubts.

Vip's game is limited.. he doesn't relish the physical battle at all. Noticed during the Oxford game his pressing was half hearted and was always looking behind him when the CB was about to challenge

Saying that his goals at Leeds and Derby showed he has something, the Plymouth game showed the poor other side of his game.

Couple of sources today saying Bolton are sniffing around Nathan Broome

In my opinion a loan would be a good deal for us since its highly likely that Fisher will be the number 1 backup keeper to challenge Vigouroux this season. However Fisher's contract runs out next summer and a Broome would almost certainly then be promoted to backup keeper.

If we sold him permanently then we would either need to offer the Fish a new deal or find another keeper (Kit Margetson is the only other one who has been involved in the first team set up and he is probably a couple of years behind Broome in terms of development and experience)

I'm not Vip's biggest fan but come on, every striker needs a quick look over the shoulder to see where the CBs are as he's about to receive the ball so he knows what his options are such as roll him and find a yard or pin him and lay the ball off or just turn if there's room or even, dare I say it these days, wait for the contact and go down if there are no other options.

Evan Watts will return from Galway at end of December and will be fine as No3 maybe even No2

Everyone's assuming it's either OBrien or a striker but why not both This ownership group is ambitious

There's a difference in glancing to position yourself for a roll or lay off and not committing to a challenge , I saw t a number of times last season. Any physicality concerns him
