The point that was being made is that Neathie didn’t hear it from Tom Coleman, not that Tom Coleman hadn’t subsequently reported it having heard it from possibly the same original source as Neathie or possibly someone else.

Having a not seen this board for a couple of days I was surprised to see some hysteria over Sheehan’s comments. It seemed to me that he was simply not being drawn and, rightly, saying the strikers we have will do a great job. Presumably because any manager saying his current crop are utter crap would be (a) a ridiculously bad man manager or (b) Russell Martin.

The club will bring in a forward. No idea who, or whether permanent or loan, but it would be so insane to have assembled the midfield we have and play Vipotnik up front or Cullen out of position as to be a non starter.

We are definitely trying for these two, but for whatever reason we’re struggling to get players to agree to come so maybe these will go the same way. They are working their nuts off to try and get a striker(s) in though, no matter what some may say.

If we don’t manage to get anyone in but are looking good at Christmas I reckon we’ll be more of an attractive proposition. Obviously we’d like someone in now but not just anyone at any cost.

Don’t know sorry, I’ve never heard of them. But don’t read anything into that regards to their quality as I don’t know hardly any players outside of our team and the big premier league stars.
