Getting a keeper to come off his line at set pieces is quite a moot subject, whereas some keeper coaches like their keepers to stay on the line and whatever defensive wall to clear the ball, while other keeper coaches like their keepers to come off their line to catch or punch the ball away from goal. You make your own mind up which category our keeper coach advises his custodian to do.I have no issue with the Fish ball playing ability, or shot stopping (although he did let some soft ones go through him). It is his totAL lack of presence that was a deal breaker. No command of his area and disappeared when 1:2:1 with an attacker.
