Summer Transfer Window

EOM's been working on his physicality over the summer. He is too lightweight to be a midfield player, and, doesn't look like he has got the passing and tackling abilities to do that role either
Don't see that. Also, it's a contradiction in terms. Leon Britton must have been too lightweight as well, not to mention Iniesta, Bernardo Silva, Messi, et al.

I can’t shake the feeling that we are planning to sell Franco to fund some of these transfers.

We have a depth in quality we haven’t seen since our premier league days.

Could they sell Franco and rely on a midfield trio of Galbraith, Widdell, Eom?
If we go by that, we're signing a load of players on the off chance that we find a buyer for Franco? Don't see it. In fact, I think that it's more likely that Franco will stay, because we look like we're showing some ambition.

As it stands right now, assuming Galbraith crosses the line our midfield seems set unless someone leaves.

Franco, Widell, Galbraith, Fulton, Cooper

A 4-3-3 formation would have the 1st 3 start. A 4-2-3-1 means 1 of the 3 MF spots is a No 10 which brings in Cullen. So think we are good there now

Think the only things left on our shopping list are a striker and a CB like Delacroix who plays CB and cover for LB. Probably a loan on the latter position

Any other incomings after that would be replacements for players leaving eg.
GK Fisher
MF Fulton or Cooper or both

Galbraith signs as a central midfielder aswell as right back cover.......it saves on an extra finance for another player. We will be certainly getting in a holding midfielder.
Central midfielder
Left back
Centre half
Striker

2 of those I would suspect too be loans.

Yates,Fulton,Cooper, Ginnelly out......possibly even Bianchini and Fisher. We would also need a Fisher replacement.
Not forgetting we will likely loan out some youngsters.

I imagine Ginnelly will be looked at pretty closely in pre season

If (and it is a BIG if) he is over his injury issues and comes back as the player we signed then he offers fantastic competition in left wing for Inoussa and CAM for Eom without the need to sign someone another player.

And he wants to show the Swans fans the mix of ability on the ball and tenacity without it that have been hallmarks of his play.

“I like to get on the ball, I like to create and make things happen. But, on the other side, I like getting stuck in and tackling. So, I love a bit of everything in the game,” he said.

He sounds like the quintessential number 8 and will play the O'Brien role for the main part judging by his interview
