Mackenzie, the youngster from Scotland is gigantic. Looks a decent prospect.

He looked good in the Stevenage game. Should be chucking him in alongside Burgess while we have our injury crisis (rather than Fulton).

Sounds like McBurnie will be off to Hull after all.

I fear for some on here if that’s the case, especially after so many sightings of him in Swansea winding them up. If he joins Hull there will be some wailing and gnashing of teeth and our board will be blamed. Hysteria here we come

McBurnie also worked with Hulls sporting director at Sheffield for a few years so probably a big pull for him, and he gets to be near his buttys Dan James and the Rodon bros.

A quick look at his history and he seems a player who would command a few million.


As for McBurnie, it's a case of not really bothered as long as we are getting someone in who is better or has more potential......concern is, looks like they are sitting on their hands nodding with approval of their early work totally unaware of what is still needed.

I doubt that last bit to be honest, I think a lot of work must be going on but for whatever reason the deals aren’t being concluded. I don’t think they’re ever just sitting on their hands, probably need to move on Yates or Ginnelly to get things moving.

Yes, probably a bit harsh from myself that.

They need to pull things out of the bag in the next few weeks though. This window will see them judged a lot more than the winter window.
Still a bit bewildered that they have no left back cover at this stage atleast.

Been 3 weeks since the pre season squad was announced you could see then the squad is very thin we are now less than 2 weeks away from the season starting and there’s been no improvement I think early optimism starting to ware off for a few thing that I don’t understand is if Watson was still here and this was our current window fans would be completely different

Early optimism has gone, only a few stragglers.

When you hear things like we are looking for better players then it becomes a bit of a siren given the words that we can't compete with most teams in this league.....we should be expecting players like Franco, players who won't make us go WOW but will raise our eyebrows when they hit the pitch.
