Put down the shovel Daps.

Alan Cork was in charge 23 years before Russell Martin. This may shock you, but people tend to change over time, including their interests, priorities, finances, etc.

Also telling people they're not being honest with themselves because you can't understand their decisions is a bad look.

Arguing about the definition of a 'real' fan is gatekeeping at it's worst.
It's an open debate, it's a matter of opinion as it's open to interpretation regards what a fan is......anyone's view is an opinion on this matter.

Regards the Cork comment, I was only giving that as an example regards previously supporting through the bad times so that would be walking down the path of history. I have covered the base of things changing over years especially fans so that doesn't suprise me.

It's far from an argument, it's just a discussion......one that I would hope is viewed in the correct manner. Regards contradictions, we are all guilty of it, I am high up there as any, contradiction isn't a bad thing in most cases.

I have read that Leicester and Boro are now also interested. Not read anything other than fans postings.
Been seeing that stuff this morning. Nothing official yet though. Even if we don’t get Kone in, we know we’ll be going for a striker who could be worth up to and around 5m so will hopefully be promising whoever comes in.

Reading that Leicester have bid, don't know if any truth or just a final push to get more out of us or further interest.
I feel that something is close, even if it's not Kone purely based on Bianchini leaving.

In other news,Kieffer Moore and Connor Coady close to joining Wrexham. Both are good signings for them and pushes them towards a possible top half/play off push in my opinion.

Good signings for the here and now. Will make sure they are at least a Championship side next season. Broadhead for 7.5m if true is a massive overpay for me though. Suppose Ipswich can ask for that though, being a parachute side.

You lost your passion to go, it happens.
Managers will come and go and regardless of people's view on the managers, fans will always support the team.
As you say, you have watched them through the bad times and seen far worse football I am sure....I know I have but yet I bet you carried on going back then. Other things can become more important in various parts of people's lives.
I find that the older lot who don't tend go is because they used to go with their kids who are now older and are into different things or go with their mates. Their passion to go was through their kids and their enjoyment.

This is just a view/opinion of mine.
You are right, I lost the passion to go. It was caused by fraud managers playing pointless football with no desire to win.

Put on a team that entertains and people will return

Brewster is another player who never lived up to the billing he created for himself. Did a job for us, has done pretty little for the last five years. I dont see that changing.

In Brewsters defence, Sheff Utd did not play to his strengths at all and obliterated his confidence
Even last season they played him as a winger rather than a striker

Fans stopped going because of the Manager/s, sorry but that's not a real fan and an excuse.

It's a statement of fact Dapsy.

The idea of skipping a home league game wouldn't have remotely occurred to me prior to 2019. I've dragged myself there when ill before now rather than do that. I'd wait for the fixtures to come out before booking holidays.

Since the end of Covid I've missed roughly three or four a season because doing other things has taken precedence over sitting in the East Stand bored out of my skull.

Who do you go to games with when you have been in the last few seasons?
