• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

For all the years people have had problems with the live streams from the clubs, many have said get IPTV and you get it all with none of the problems, ya mugs get with!!

That’s just stupid. I can’t take my IPTV everywhere I go.

One issue is that if the club site goes down, then so does IPTV. Can always get the oppo feed though.

I'm amazed it isn't more ubiquitous than it already is. No wonder Sky subs are dropping like a stone, especially at the moment. Going to be interesting to see how this impacts broadcast deals and football finances generally.

Mine's on a Firestick. Anyway, not getting in to mine's bigger than yours nonsense, enjoy your IPTV on the go. Thanks to anyone who actually attempted to help at the time.

Took mine when going on holiday this year.
I think the only problem on a firestick is trying to watch through a laptop, as both are hdmi out.
Used to have a small TV in the truck, with a firestick.

Ceefax not good enough for you then?😤

Staple on a Saturday/ midweek night, along with the Sporting Post and teletext (itv?)

That’s illegal. 👀

Only if you record it. Otherwise you're just watching something that someone is streaming on the internet. The streamer can be done though.

As can you. They're just not going to do it due to the sheer scale. It why they only went after the distributors when or came to music and computer game piracy.

After a few years of streaming through the club, problem after problem with the stream or finding it. How many tenners for the away, I have no idea.
I took the plunge and went iptv.
Brilliant decision and about 80 a month saving over sky and streaming.

You know it makes sense Rodney

Think you will find providing the streams is illegal.
No one has ever been prosecuted for watching streams in their own home, whether through IPTV or the various previous options

Yes you can.
Works on firestick, mobile tablets, even on phones.
