• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

His history with the club, his connections to the academy. I have 0 issue with him staying. As he did well with under 21. We don't know the full extent of his involvement in the team. But we need people who know the club more than ever.
What we need is a clean slate to totally get away from the style of play we've been burdened with for the past 4 yrs. What imput is KOL going to make " well new gaffer this is how we play ". I mean the guy can't even keep himself in any decent type of shape. I wouldn't even have him put the cones out.

Reactions: KOL
Hearing and learning there's now a proper proper buzz at the Club, at all levels

A proper purge of the toxic Martin-Williams menacing ways already underway........... 😅

Will go down as one of the very worst managers in my time, good riddance
What I cannot comprehend is his game management.

While yes his tactics were also shocking at least (usually) you could see what he had envisioned the players doing even if it never worked out that way. But I cannot in my whole life think of a manager who was so utterly inept at reading the flow of a game and making changes to impact it in the desired fashion.

The Stoke game was a masterclass, losing by 1 goal with 15 mins to play and he brings on a 3rd centre half and a defensive midfielder while leaving on an attacking player who has zero goals and zero assists all season.

I'm still convinced he wanted to get himself sacked, and has done for a while, he'll get his severance and move on to a league two side.

I get that. Totally. But I don't think they will rip the whole process. I know it's not as easy as this, but we need quick attacking football. Williams wanted slow pace. I get what you mean.

I think this statement has put the first smile on my face for quite a while regarding the Swans, reading this thread I think I’m in the majority.

He looked like a man broken on Saturday. Tears in eyes. But we have all been feeling this for months. I never like to take delight in downfall of people, but Williams was not just out of his league he lied and threw players under the bus. Problem is he couldn't back what he was saying.

Firstly, at last.
Got to laugh at the timing though. Shows Coleman to be an even bigger bell end to me.
Let's see what the mighty Q pick Saturday 😁

Coleman avoids the forum bullets by sending team manager to the front line unarmed.

We do need a fresh view of the squad and approach. Sheehan and the pie eater isn't the answer even short term

Probably the worst since Cullis. Totally out of his depth.
If it's Coleman picking the replacement then we ain't outa the woods cos that tool should have gone as well.
New manager bounce is all we can hope for or it's off to the basement we go.
