Think what you like about Huw Jenkins when he was our chairman, but he certainly had the footballing nous when it came to picking managers.
You can bet they’re bottom dollar, the owners search for a new manager will boil down to “Data driven analytics”
Give me “Footballing nous” any day.
Jenkins is a fucking Judas. He was custodian of our great club and sold to the worst owners possible - he couldn’t get away fast enough. I don’t care about his footballing nous. I hate the man.

He lost his Midas touch when he replaced Laudrup with Gary Monk

Sounds like we will know if Hellberg is staying with his club or coming to us within the next 24 hours then. That's some pace to moving Sheehan out and around 7 days later we get a new manager hopefully.

We

We weren't playing well and the West Ham game was embarrassing but that truly was one far reaching fuck of a knee jerk.
Gonzo thought he was God and Gary Monk was one of the disciples.

I often wonder what would have happen if Chico had caught Gary with that brick.

It was only partly down to performances. Issues off the pitch and the whole Tutumlu thing had strained relations. Similar sort of thing happened with Sousa.

Monk was appointed because Jenkins thought he was malleable. Big mistake.

We'd won at Old Trafford a fortnight before and had an awful run of injuries.
I still maintain his sacking had nothing at all to do with the football on the pitch.
