May as well schedule our next manager search in diaries now for March/April 2026. We’re not big on leaning lessons as a club are we.
I’m not sure anyone can be ‘about’ anything if they’ve only ever had a dozen games as a manager. And in a very inferior league at that.Feels like they are going for a general style. By all accounts, Hellberg wanted to control the game and be hardworking off the ball. That’s the broad strokes of what Matos is about from what I’ve been reading. For me it’s encouraging that they know what they want in a manager. I totally get the concerns at the same time though.
We’ll be looking for a manager for league 1 if that’s the case.May as well schedule our next manager search in diaries now for March/April 2026. We’re not big on leaning lessons as a club are we.
I agree with the first part, that’s the risk we’re taking. 12 games of management isn’t anything really.I’m not sure anyone can be ‘about’ anything if they’ve only ever had a dozen games as a manager. And in a very inferior league at that.
I suspect every young coach who hasn’t managed would describe the same type of play. It’s implementing it with the players you have that’s the difficult bit.

I’ve made the same point, can’t see why they’re not getting scrutinised like the last lot. They’re getting a pass and if rumours are to be believed there’s a complete looney in charge of the whole thing. Bonkers. This is a big call from the owners. In my eyes, they're under serious pressure to get some big decisions right. They took over last winter, and since then they haven't made the right call on any big transfer window/managerial appointment/managerial sacking.
If this goes wrong (obviously I hope it doesn't but the warning sings are as clear as day) people need to finnaly see past this celebrity buzz and hold them accountable for the awful decisions they've made since they've been in.
Because people love a celebrity.I’ve made the same point, can’t see why they’re not getting scrutinised like the last lot. They’re getting a pass and if rumours are to be believed there’s a complete looney in charge of the whole thing. Bonkers.
Grateful for the money they've put in. I'll give them credit for that.I’ve made the same point, can’t see why they’re not getting scrutinised like the last lot. They’re getting a pass and if rumours are to be believed there’s a complete looney in charge of the whole thing. Bonkers.
Your first paragraph is bit of an over reaction to the current situation. This is a big call from the owners. In my eyes, they're under serious pressure to get some big decisions right. They took over last winter, and since then they haven't made the right call on any big transfer window/managerial appointment/managerial sacking.

They've spent money and the club is a lot more organised off the pitch than it has been for years.I’ve made the same point, can’t see why they’re not getting scrutinised like the last lot. They’re getting a pass and if rumours are to be believed there’s a complete looney in charge of the whole thing. Bonkers.
